Celebrity Deathmatch is a claymation television show that depicts celebrities against each other in a wrestling ring, almost always ending in the loser’s gruesome death. It was known for its excessive amount of blood used in every match and exaggerated physical injuries.
The series was created by Eric Fogel; with the pilots airing on MTV on January 1 & 25 1998. The initial series ran from May 14, 1998 to October 20, 2002, and lasted for a 75-episode run. There was one special that did not contribute to the final episode total, entitled “Celebrity Deathmatch Hits Germany”, which aired on June 21, 2001. Professional wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin gave voice to his animated form as the guest commentator. Early in 2003, a film based on the series was announced by MTV to be in the making, but the project was canceled by the end of that year.
In 2005, MTV2 announced the revival of the show as part of their “Sic ‘Em Friday” programming block. Originally set to return in November 2005, the premiere was pushed back to June 10, 2006 as part of a new “Sic’emation” block with two other animated shows, Where My Dogs At and The Adventures of Chico and Guapo. The show’s fifth season was produced by Cuppa Coffee Studios and the premiere drew over 2.5 million viewers, becoming MTV2’s highest rated season premiere ever.

Young Dracula is a British teenage horror drama television series airing on CBBC, loosely based on Young Dracula AND Young Monsters, a children’s book by Michael Lawrence. Directed by Joss Agnew, the first series was broadcast in 2006, and the second series, which started in late 2007, concluded in early 2008. The third series, commissioned three years after the second, sees Vlad and the Count flee both vampires and slayers, while the Count is determined that Vlad should fulfil his destiny to become “the Chosen One”. This series was filmed in Liverpool during 2011, in various locations including the disused Margaret Bevan School, Croxteth Hall and Stanley Docks. The fourth series follows on from season three’s predicament and was helmed by a new director.
An off-beat comedy set in the front office of a fictional pro basketball expansion team and centered on Jake Tullus, a Silicon Valley tycoon whose lifelong dream was to buy a pro basketball team but quickly finds he’s in over his head. The group he assembled to run Las Vegas’ first pro sports team won’t be much help.
Stoked is a Canadian animated TV series produced by Fresh TV Inc. It is produced by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis and premiered on Teletoon on June 25, 2009. It airs on Teletoon in Canada and ABC3 in Australia, and formerly aired on Cartoon Network in the United States. The series is from the same creators as 6teen and the Total Drama series.

Marvel’s Avengers Assemble is an animated series, based on the fictional Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, which has been designed to capitalize on the success of the 2012 film adaptation. Avengers Assemble premiered on May 26, 2013, on Disney XD. The series is a replacement for The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. It airs alongside Ultimate Spider-Man, while Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. will be added to the “Marvel Universe” television block in August 2013. Additionally, it features a near-identical cast and crew with both shows, and shares continuity with them as part of the block. Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle, a group known as Man of Action, have been confirmed to be the executive producers of the series. On the Mighty Marvel Podcast #122 it was revealed the series would debut with an hour long slot featuring episodes 101 and 102 titled “The Avengers Protocol Part 1” and “The Avengers Protocol Part 2”, respectively.
