17 years ago, immortals first appeared on the battlefields of Africa. Later, rare, unknown new immortal lifeforms began appearing among humans, and they became known as “Ajin” (demi-humans). Just before summer vacation, a Japanese high school student is instantly killed in a traffic accident on his way home from school. However, he is revived, and a price is placed on his head. Thus begins a boy’s life on the run from all of humankind.

The series is created by Brad Neely, and features Neely’s existing characters from the China, IL web series and special. Characters include Frank and Steve Smith, aka “The Professor Brothers,” and Mark “Baby” Cakes. Neely provides the voice for all three characters. The series is produced by Williams Street and animated by Titmouse, Inc. China, IL has been renewed for a second season with the possibility of a new half-hour runtime.
On May 25, 2008, Adult Swim ran The Funeral, an 11-minute special which was streamed on the now defunct Super Deluxe website. Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness is an American computer-animated television series spun-off from the Kung Fu Panda films. It takes place between the two films showing Po’s training to becoming a successful Dragon Warrior. The series was originally set to air on Nickelodeon in 2010, but it was pushed back to 2011 instead. Over 52 episodes have been produced or ordered, with a third season also confirmed. Two special previews were aired on September 19 and October 21, 2011 and it officially premiered on November 7, 2011.
Akagi is a mahjong centric Japanese manga, written by Nobuyuki Fukumoto and first published in 1992. It is featured in the weekly magazine Modern Mahjong, and is a prequel to the author’s previous work Ten, in which Akagi’s titular character also appears. The series is currently airing on Cartoon Network, as part of their “DC Nation” television block. A one hour sneak peek aired on November 11, 2011 it ran from November 11, 2011 to March 16, 2013, with a new episode airing every week. A special screening of the first episode was shown at New York Comic Con 2011 on October 15, 2011. This is the first Green Lantern television series and the first CGI DC/WB series. The series was cancelled after one season due to poor toy sales from the live-action movie, and because Cartoon Network wanted to emphasize new shows in its “DC Nation” block.
